This post is for threading with Emmet anytime and anywhere. It can be used for Action or the Ring feature on journals to get in contact with him for personal conversations. It's also ideal for when your character and Emmet are threading in another character's post without input from that character.

Note: When making a new thread, please title it as such:

Okay, Raven. They say I'm called Emmet, so you can call me that until further notice, I guess.

[Emmeeeeeeeeeet Chandelure wants to know why you no longer love it either. Ingo is being so unreasonable! It's coming closer, making distressed sounds.]

...I don't know why it does that. But you look like its friend.

Ah hah... well, we were kind of told that it sort of... eats souls.

We don't know how true that is, so...

[So excuse him backing up and laughing very awkwardly.]

Souls? [Does she know what souls are? She thinks she does, and looks at Chandelure with a frown. The macabre candelabra looks so sad, though. How could it possibly? It just wants friends.]

And what's surgery? [Yep. He sure did just ask that. At least he doesn't have to feel bad since he, you know, barely remembers anything.]

You know, when they operate on your body... you know, this conversation would be a lot easier if everyone remembered everything.

We probably wouldn't have this conversation if we remembered everything.

Fair enough... though that leads me to wonder what sort of conversation we should be having.

Maybe... but still, I can't be the only person who writes for it.

I don't even remember it... it was just on a notecard and I did have some things sort of written down...

[it wonders the same thing, emmet. all these crazy people with different coloured cloaks and legs coming from their head areas. it's kinda weird.

but it doesn't know why that's weird.

it looks up at emmet and twirls its cloak around its body, the cloth spinning about lazily.]

Well, I'm a human, at least. Most of us around here are, I think... I think you're the only one of you.

[Even though Emmet's addressing the traveler, he's mumbling more as though he's talking to himself. Hmm...]

[chirpchirp]

[it tilts its head when it hears Emmet talking, not sure what he is saying. it sounds like he's talking about the traveler, but it can't understand enough to parse it out.

it waits for a moment and then jumps into the air, twirling around as it lets out a large sound wave. the bubble of energy expands out along with a rune in the air.]

Whoa-- whoa.

[The pulse didn't do anything other than ruffle his coat, some, so despite the initial start, he calms down. Wow, that's pretty cool.]

That must be how you talk, huh?

[it calls out in short bursts and then tilts its head at Emmet. it somewhat understands what he is saying, but it isn't quite sure.]

I guess an achy back isn't very mechanical...I think. It's hard to remember.

...Though, maybe it's just something like a bunch of rusted gears.

Well, if you are, there ought to be some way to tell. Screws or a door or something.

[Canti's wave becomes more enthusiastic, but then he drops his hand and walks over. When he's close enough that Emmett should be able to read his screen, and hopefully not too close for comfort, Canti bows slightly, then extends a hand.]

Hello. I am Lord Canti.
