[There's always a lot of activity going on in the midst of the village. People shuffling about and chatting as they go about their day, others still spending time with friends and family. Still, it's not always the most excited place, as most people training take to the forests or to the Battle Dome.

So when a grown man starts running through the streets with a bizarre, brightly feathered bird-like dinosaur creature, it's a bit stirring! The creature runs along with its legs, flapping its wings at times to try and glide to gain speed, staying just ahead of its master until Emmet takes the tennis ball in his hand and throws it as hard as he can in the air.

The bird races along the ground by foot, at incredible speeds, before taking off in flight. It swooped upwards catching the ball in its mouth before dropping back down and catching itself on the side of a building, gripping it until gliding back down on the ground and running back to Emmet to return the ball to him.

All in all, it's quite a silly looking game, as Archeops, despite running at incredibly startling speeds, looks like a chicken as it runs. And Emmet himself is running around, a big ol' smile on his face like always.]

Good girl! Let's do it again, alright? Once more down the line!

[Rinse, lather, repeat!]

[It's all fun and games until Chandelure stays true to its Naughty nature. On one of the ball tosses Chandelure materializes right in front of the thrown ball, screeching merrily as it (and possibly Archeops depending on how close behind she was) sails right through him.

Ingo is a bit of a distance behind them, coming back from the woods for training. Chandelure, where did you go. what are you doing. Chandelure go home you are not part of this game-- oh, it's Archeops!]

[Taking a break from potentially destroying our kitchen in the quest to figure out the recipe for volcano burgers for Gold, we're just minding on our own business now, going for a walk with Pansage...that is, until they notice their game and stop to watch for a moment.

When Archeops catches a particularly impressive toss of the ball, Cilan (and Pansage, who mimics the movement as best as it can from where it had been clinging onto his shoulder) offers some modest clapping.]

What a superb taste! That was an impressive catch! ["Pan~!"]

[ aaand on one of the throws, the ball hits a passerby empoleon right in the head. awkward penguin flails a bit in surprise, while her trainer does a double-take. ]

Empoleon?... Where did that ball come from!

[Emmet must be a great tosser; Raven turns suddenly as a large bird goes sprinting by while she walks from the smithy. The colors- no, it was that silly brother's bird monster. Shortly afterward it careens back in the other direction and she...follows it.]

This...looks like fetch.

Whoa, you guys are doing great!

[It's always awesome to see trainers around with their Pokemon! It definitely makes this place feel a bit more like home.]

So, what kinda Pokemon is that, anyway? Never seen that one!

[Or if he has, he's forgotten by now. Whoops!]

[Silver is returning from the dome with Sneasel! And...

...And a ball goes sailing over their heads. What the-]

[ At some point, Hilda stops to watch the dinobird fetch the ball like a real pro. You go, Archeops! ]

Looks like you two are having fun! It's making me wish I had my Archeops here with me. [ Heck, she really wishes she had her full team with her. She's glad to at least have three but that doesn't change the fact that there's a giant hole in her life where the rest of her precious partners should be. ]

[Gold watches Ingo play with his dino-chicken for a bit, before he decides to speak up.]

[Oh lord, is that a Pokemon from Unova holy shit, it looks like a Dragon/Flying type, oh wow, are those claws at the end of its wings. This is so cool. And it's so fast, too! Crys just stares in amazement at it for a while before realizing it must have a trainer, too. Just gonna wait and see where it lands... aha! There.] Um, excuse me, sir--
