You do use two Pokémon! You have to balance and carefully strategize which Pokémon work best together and how to best use their partnered-up abilities!

It's too bad there aren't more Pokémon around here. All of them are spoken for, I think.

Yeah, pretty much all. Can you team up with people for it too? Because there's three others here that're like me with only one.

We're not really from your world. Soren's the kid of two Pokémon here, and so are the rest of the trainers like me.

Oooh, I see! So Soren was the first Pokémon you've ever come to know!

[Y... YEAH IT IS ISN'T IT. Soren trills happily, and Chien smiles a little. A tiny bit. Yup.]

In this kind of way, sure, but the first one I met was a pretty powerful one named Mewtwo. He told me what he knew about your world and all, even people he knew.

How big are those? [because if galvantula's the size of his face, the joltik's gotta be just as big--]

Ooh, she was so tiny! They're only four inches tall, they're so cute!

She grew really big. Soren was the same way, he was about as big as my hand and then he's as big as my arm now. From wingtip to wingtip too.

Yes! Evolution lets them grow much bigger!

She's still super cute and very strong, even after evolving!

He's always been really fast and strong though, so. I guess that makes up for it.
