2nd Station ➲ Action
[There's always a lot of activity going on in the midst of the village. People shuffling about and chatting as they go about their day, others still spending time with friends and family. Still, it's not always the most excited place, as most people training take to the forests or to the Battle Dome.
So when a grown man starts running through the streets with a bizarre, brightly feathered bird-like dinosaur creature, it's a bit stirring! The creature runs along with its legs, flapping its wings at times to try and glide to gain speed, staying just ahead of its master until Emmet takes the tennis ball in his hand and throws it as hard as he can in the air.
The bird races along the ground by foot, at incredible speeds, before taking off in flight. It swooped upwards catching the ball in its mouth before dropping back down and catching itself on the side of a building, gripping it until gliding back down on the ground and running back to Emmet to return the ball to him.
All in all, it's quite a silly looking game, as Archeops, despite running at incredibly startling speeds, looks like a chicken as it runs. And Emmet himself is running around, a big ol' smile on his face like always.]
Good girl! Let's do it again, alright? Once more down the line!
[Rinse, lather, repeat!]

Ingo is a bit of a distance behind them, coming back from the woods for training. Chandelure, where did you go. what are you doing. Chandelure go home you are not part of this game-- oh, it's Archeops!]
no subject
Hope you don't mind a slightly rough landing, Ingo, as Archeops grabs onto your coat with all her claws and hangs off of your shoulder! Emmet is quick to run up and join his brother.]
Ingo! How did training go?
no subject
Emmet. [He nods a little tiredly at the question, and Chandelure floats down to rejoin them after retrieving the ball.] Well enough, though how Silver and the others so easily work their more hands-on physical aspects into their battling is still a bit of a distant track...
[AHHH, YOUTH. Not that he's envious of their acrobatics, since it's a necessity, but... Keep trying, Ingo. You'll get better at it eventually. Maybe.]

[Still beyond Emmet's comfort zone, but amazing. Emmet holds his arms out and Archeops hops into his grasp, scrambling and finding a comfy position on his shoulders. Really, she's the reason Emmet needs so many spare coats...]
Today I'm riding the line of personal fitness!
no subject
Is that so? [The side of his lips quirks briefly, the beginning of a smile.] Decided it was a necessary line today, did you.
no subject
Right. I'm starting to gain a little weight - not having a work schedule leaves me free to really graze...
no subject
It's definitely an adjustment, having a looser schedule... good thing you have Archeops to play with, then.
[He chuckles a little, reaching up to give Archeops a few pats on the head. This is an easy problem to deal with... it's almost relieving.]

[Emmet grins, poking at Ingo's arm.]
Or maybe you're getting all muscly instead.
no subject
Ah... [muscles, though... He looks a little embarrassed at that.] Perhaps, but... I couldn't say. I don't believe I [or Emmet for that matter] look much different than before.
[he's still a wiry stick, after all. just a stronger wiry stick.]

...Yes, I think we could do that. [Well, he could never say no to it, really. And why would he?] I suppose the only question is what exactly constitutes "fun things"...
