3rd Station ➲ Written

[Emmet woke one morning with an unpleasant surprise: Ingo was gone, as were all of his things. After a while, he found a few things left behind intentionally. And so Emmet begins his little message; it's written in slow, legible and careful handwriting.]

Subway Boss Ingo has left the station known as Luceti and has thankfully returned to the Gear Station located in Nimbasa, Unova.

He has left farewell letters of varying length for the following people:

• Miss Mei

• Miss Yellow
• Red

• Cilan
• Miss Platina
• Masaomi Kida
• Hiccup
• Miss Shiemi

I'm holding onto the letters, so if you like, please come and see me to receive your letter. I currently reside in Community Building #1, 7th floor, room #34.

[The smile catches her off guard. The blonde stares at him while at a loss for words. This... this must be hurting Emmet, right? Or is he happy Ingo is home? It could be both. Is it impolite to say "sorry" about this? At this moment she realizes she doesn't know anything.

Would you like to come in? Or do you need to depart the station quickly?

[Either is okay, even if he would like the company, he knows he's a wreck waiting to happen.]

[Though her desire to come in is pretty neutral. She wouldn't be here if not for the letter, but she doesn't want to run off and abandon Emmet. He seems like a really cool guy.]

[A small smile finds its way to her face from his kindness. Shiemi steps in, and immediately starts taking off her shoes out of habit.]

[Totally okay! Emmet goes into the kitchen, and he'll work on preparing a cup for her. He places Shiemi's letter down for her to pick up.]

Here you go, Miss Shiemi. He prepared a lot of letters for this occasion.

[The girl picks it up with the utmost care, and then holds it to her chest. She doesn't dare open it yet.]

Mr. Ingo must have really thought ahead... Not everyone leaves things behind.

[Shiemi presses the letter against herself even more as if trying to put it as close to her heart as she can.]

It's nice... to have a little bit of him to hold on to.

Well... yes! But you mustn't forget. Even if someone moves to a whole separate line, and you never see them again, you can recall and enjoy the track you shared together! Ingo is safe. And while goodbyes are sad, it's okay, because Ingo is happy and at home and someday soon you can go home as well.

[Emmet reaches out and puts his hand on her head, giving it a teensy little shake.]

[Her cheeks flush with color when Emmet tousles her hair. He's so nice... Ingo was too, but somehow Emmet's smile is a little more reassuring.]

He left you one too, right? Are you two... twins?

We are. And yes, he left me one too.

I think that's great.

[She wonders if a friend of hers were still here would his twin have written a letter for him? Maybe she should start writing some of her own?]

But I'm sure it's been hard on you the most, Mr. Emmet.

That's very strong of you. I know one day you'll definitely be back together.

I never noticed that he was gone, when we were home, so... I believe you're right. I'll see him again someday. We are destined to travel together and down the same line!
