3rd Station ➲ Written

[Emmet woke one morning with an unpleasant surprise: Ingo was gone, as were all of his things. After a while, he found a few things left behind intentionally. And so Emmet begins his little message; it's written in slow, legible and careful handwriting.]

Subway Boss Ingo has left the station known as Luceti and has thankfully returned to the Gear Station located in Nimbasa, Unova.

He has left farewell letters of varying length for the following people:

• Silver
• Miss Hilda
• Miss Mei
• Gold
• Miss Yellow
• Red
• Green
• Cilan
• Miss Platina
• Masaomi Kida
• Hiccup
• Miss Shiemi

I'm holding onto the letters, so if you like, please come and see me to receive your letter. I currently reside in Community Building #1, 7th floor, room #34.

That's not good enough. [He has to do something else. Something more. He reaches for Emmet's arm and pulls it around himself, hoping that Emmet will hug him- because if nothing else, he wants that vague reassurance that someone he- someone he considers family is right there, right next to him.

He thinks back to Blue. He thinks back to Crys. There was a time when all he needed was Blue. There was a time when all he needed was Gold, Blue, and Crys.

For a second, he sincerely thinks that he wants to go back to that time. That's the same second that he really, truly lets out a sob and starts shaking his head as if it will make that thought go away.]

I'm sorry. It's the best I can do...

[Emmet does hug Silver, and he holds him very close. He needs this, more than anything else. He needs someone impacted as strongly as he was. Who loved Ingo nearly as much as he did.]

I miss him. I'll see him again someday, but I miss him so much. I was so stupid, I didn't think at all about what it'd be like when he went home.

I didn't make any preparations... I'm not ready. I'm not ready at all...

...How do you prepare for someone leaving? [He's completely leaning against Emmet by now; if Emmet were to move, he'd fall over.

Silver tries to look up at Emmet to hear his answer to the question, but his vision is obscured. How do you prepare for someone important to you just vanishing, possibly for good?]

You brace for it. You decide what you're going to do afterwards. It still hurts, but at least then... you have some sort of plan.

[There's a weak laugh! At least he can take solace in the fact that Ingo is still alive, just gone. That he'll see Ingo again someday. His mother, though... she was gone for good.

Inhale, and shaky exhale.]

I can still piece together something. I'm better at thinking on my feet. I should ask if I can move in with someone, since I don't want to live alone... that's my second step, right now.

[tsuntrader]

[...Heh.] Ingo lived in a really quiet building before you got here. I convinced him to move here since there are more people. [Sure, at the time it was only half out of concern and half out of the need of a distraction, but look at where he is now.

...Is he really never going to see Ingo ever again?...] Make sure you're not lonely, alright?

Would it be okay if I asked you to stay here, for some time? Just until I can get a roommate, I suppose.

[tsuntrader]

[...He's tempted to offer to just bring him home, but... There's no room at home.

He doesn't want to go home anyway. It... It won't feel like a home right now.

He nods. Yeah, he can stay here.]

Do you have anyone in mind?

Cilan already lives next door... so it wouldn't be too difficult. And... I think he'd put up with me the most.
